Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • For Unreserved, SC & OBC Categories: 10th Class pass under the 10+2 system or equivalent.
  • For ST Category: 8th Class pass or equivalent.

Physical Standards (Constable DEF)

  • Male (UR/SC/OBC): Height: 168 cm, Chest: 81-86 cm.
  • Male (ST): Height: 160 cm, Chest: 76-81 cm.
  • Female (All Categories): Height: 155 cm.

Selection Process

Stage 1: Written Exam100 Marks / 2 Hours

  • General Knowledge & Logical Reasoning: 40 Marks
  • Intellectual Ability & Mental Aptitude: 30 Marks
  • Science & Simple Arithmetic: 30 Marks
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)100 Marks

  • 800 Meter Run: 40 Marks
  • Long Jump: 30 Marks
  • Shot Put (Gola Fek): 30 Marks
  • Marks are awarded based on performance in each event. Candidates must score a minimum of 30% total marks (30 marks) in the PET.

Salary / Pay Scale

Pay Scale₹ 19500 - 62000
  • A stipend (70%, 80%, 90%) is applicable for the first three years of service.
